Welcome to the GOOPFIC (GOOgle Print FICtion) Collection!
This collection represents an attempt by book-loving individuals to locate and make available all public domain works of fiction available through the Google Book Search (formerly Google Print) service. The collection includes only works known to be in the public domain and includes a variety of novels, stories, sketches, and dramatic works. You can find lesser-known works by some of the greatest writers of the English language in the collection (as well as a few works that are sad statements about their time).
The GOOPFIC project needs your help! If you discover a fictional work in Google Book Search that's in the public domain and not part of the GOOPFIC project, please share the details with us so that we can add it to the collection! (See the FAQ for details.)
News: There are now more than 75 complete books available for download! We're starting at GOOPFIC Index 1 and working our way up from there as best we can; not all books are in downloadable condition, and we're trying to do it at a moderate pace so as not to abuse the service.
